Specialist Advice & Representation Service

The service is based on George Street, Hull, providing specialist level advice and representation services in debt advice, welfare benefits and employment. Staff advise on the clients’ legal rights, negotiate on behalf of clients with third parties, and can represent at Court, Benefit and Employment tribunals.

Clients are seen by appointment only and where clients cannot come into the Bureau, staff will undertake a home visit. Clients are referred from the Generalist Advice Unit, outreach sessions, other projects, Hull City Council social services, the local Primary Care Trust and other voluntary organisations.
